Ben’s Collectors Records was founded in 1991, in Farnham. The store then moved to Guildford, Surrey in November of 1993. Ben has had a lifelong affection for music and despite working in record shops full time since 1984, (8 hours a day, 6 days a week and part time while at school and college since 1980). Ben still loves music!
Ben’s Collectors Records caters for all styles and in all formats, even cassette tapes and 8 track cartridges! The shop is located at 5 Tunsgate, Guildford, GU1 3QT, which is off the High street, right opposite the historic Guildhall. The Guildhall is where the successful ‘Guildford Record Fair’ organised by Ben has run for several years and is located on one of the UK’s busiest high streets. The record fair attracts over 500 visitors every time so the stall holders are kept busy. Go check it out if you’re ever in the area!
